I'm sorry but I think that's frickin' BRILLIANT! I think she's forcing us to actually listen to the words of the song. And when you slow it down and break it down like Alanis has ... you realize what a ridiculous ... RIDICULOUS song that is! And the sad thing is, is that 10 and 11 year old girls know every word to it. Sad.
okay I only made it to the part where she started singing "my love" over and over then had to stop. Didn't like it at all. brrr I see your point but sometimes a song can be useless and pointless and still be good and the original was just that. Alanis has put out crap herself so it's all good if you ask me which you didn't LOL
is that really alanis? this lady's head isn't quite shaped the same as I remember seeing it...? I have a broken sound card on my laptop so I gotta plug in this USB converter and use headphones, and welllllll, they're all the way over there and... I'll check it out later.
brr- you can actually hear the words, i agree. i just think alanis looks kind of nutty in this video.

Wow... I had to stop too; but it sure made me re-think the 'lyrics' of the song - although every time I hear it I think of "The Office" and how it's Michael's ring tone...
